It’s been an exciting Christmas over here and I’m even more excited to share some of our experiences with you. The height of our Christmas celebration was at the Carowinds Winterfest. It was beyond awesome, we all had a blast.
Winterfest at Carowinds is truly a place where memories of holidays past are present, a place where memories of holidays now are waiting to be made. So many sights, sounds, activities, entertainment and many rides for all ages.
It was an evening affair and I was shocked the girls were not tired at all but soaked in and enjoyed all the activities, they were so sad to leave at 10 pm when it closed. It was practically impossible to see all the activities in 5 hours since there were over 16 functional rides and loads of fun activities.
We experienced the CELEBRATION PLAZA, North pole (skytower) first. It was amazing to see such beautiful scenery from way up on the tower.
Then we moved to the CHARLIE BROWN’S CHRISTMAS TOWN, which consisted of the Character Carousel, Charlie Brown’s wind up, Flying ace aerial chase, PEANUTS Pirates, Flying ace balloon race, Snoopy vs Red Baron, Snoopy Junction.
There’s also the COCA-COLA POLAR BEAR PLAZA with Do-Si-Do, Zephyr, Electro-spin, Rock’n Roller and CHRISTMAS CROSSROADS with Afterburn, Boo Blasters on Boo Hill.
We even met Mrs. Clause too…
From the ARTISAN ALLEY to the JINGLE BELL BOARDWALK and SNOWFLAKE LANE,
It was beyond exciting and we truly had a wonderful time at Carowinds Winterfest. We can’t wait to go back next year. Carowinds is a family oriented place and since Winterfest, open all year round.
